How to Read Betting Odds
Malaysian players typically encounter four different odds formats. Understanding each format helps you make better betting decisions.
Always bet within your means. The examples below are for illustration only.
Malay Odds
The most common format in Malaysia. A positive (+) value shows how much profit per unit. A negative (-) value shows how much needs to be staked to win one unit.
Hong Kong Odds
Similar to positive Malay odds. Shows net profit relative to the stake. A value of 1.50 means winning RM1.50 for every RM1 staked.
Indonesian Odds
Positive values work like Hong Kong odds. Negative values show the amount that needs to be staked to win 100. This format is popular among Southeast Asian players.
European Odds (Decimal)
The easiest format to understand. Multiply the odds value by the stake amount to get the total return including the original stake.
Casino Game Studio Variety
Modern casino platforms are powered by a range of studios that each specialise in their own area
High-Quality Slot Studios
Companies that produce high-RTP video slots with cinematic graphics and engaging mechanics such as Megaways, cluster pays and bonus buy features.
Live Dealer Studio
Providers that stream professional dealers from licensed studios in Eastern Europe and Asia for authentic Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette and Sic Bo.
Asian-Themed Studio
Providers specialising in Asian-themed slots, fishing games and culturally relevant titles popular among Southeast Asian players.
Crash and Instant Games Studio
Newer providers offering fast-round games with provably fair mechanics, instant results and a fresh style of play.
jp9 integrates games from multiple international studios to give players a varied and constantly refreshed collection. Each studio brings its own style, mechanics and experience — giving you plenty of options to explore.
